Re: XRL Hall of Records
What sort of records do you have from 2012 Patches? Or Sam I guess, I can't remember who was being sent the scores. I was forced to use the ladder as I was missing 7 rounds of scores. If you guys have the rounds I am missing though, I can just work off the scores, and end up with what should have been the correct ladder (will be interesting to see how much it was affected).

Re: XRL Hall of Records
I used my old work email I believe which I don't have access to anymore. However I would have emailed out the scores so hopefully someone doesn't delete old emails and has them? What 7 rounds are you missing? Rox went on a rampage leading into the finals, although I do recall Eli Taylor having a big game as captain to get the Druggies up towards the back end of the season against us.

I'll see what I can find. I can definitely provide scores for my game in each of those rounds and will do so after lunch.

Re: XRL Hall of Records
Do we have match records for 08? Because I have a suspicion the Gunners never beat the Bling Eagles either. I think we drew one of our matches and lost the other. The fun fact may have to be edited.

Re: XRL Hall of Records
I dont have anything from 08 except player stats. According to these records the Eagles had 7 competition points the year they played though, and I thought Charles got a draw against them.

I don't think I drew a match for the first several seasons of XRL.

Could be the case. I just know that Bling remembers two things about XRL - 1. he had Josh Perry and 2. he beat the Killers twice

I definitely drew with them, but I have a feeling my other match was a loss.

I'd like to submit an effort for biggest victory.
The Mexican Slapping Frogs beat the Rocket Scientists 90-10 in Round 16, 2010.

Re: XRL Hall of Records
I'm guessing most points in a game will be Terry Campese in 2008 in one of the later rounds he scored 4T PT IT and kicked 10 goals, however I don't think I played him as a goalkicker in the match so not sure if that'll count. In my defence I was choosing between him, Cameron Smith, Jamie Soward, and Benji Marshall. What a fun year that was.

How come everyone puts forward their largest win / most points records but no-one is filling those least points records?

Re: XRL Hall of Records
I can tell you the least in a game was Crubbs with -24. It may have since been equalled. Given the scores don't go below 0, it may take me a while to find it though.

The scorecard I had saved for Round 3 2010 clearly said it was -20. Not claiming I don't own the record (I don't recall anyone else coming close) but at least give me a little credit - I was the defending premier at the time lol
Anyway I'll have time to look at historical stats more after the end of this season. I think we should also organise some knowledge-sharing so we can keep consistent stats/draws/rules, as a contingency for future seasons so that we don't have 2012-style problems again.

Re: XRL Hall of Records
The thing that confuses me is that someone should have these emails, myself included. I don't delete much that comes in my inbox, least of all XRL related stuff. No one seems to have a full record though, and I don't remember feeling like I didn't get sent scores every week.
Then again, maybe I was just sent the ladder every week, which has turned out to be the internet equivalent of a flaming paper bag of shit.

Crubbs, it does look like I have that match scored as -20, and I doubt you have done that badly twice.

Re: XRL Hall of Records
Yeah, I distinctly remember having -16 as the record and Crubbs either scoring -16 or -20. I don't think anyone has even come close to that since so I'd say we can safely lock in -20 as the record.

Re: XRL Hall of Records
Also I'm pretty sure Bryce had JWH sent off as captain in a match against the Punters either last year or the year before?
No need to go through years of data for least points scored by a player if that is the case, will easily beat all of the deadly doubles we have had.

Re: XRL Hall of Records
Are you sure all those are records? Killers have racked up a fair few points over the years. Would be curious as to my longest winning streak, with one 17 win season and at least one 16 win season, before finals (where I've generally won between 2 and 4 matches each finals series)

Re: XRL Hall of Records
Not certain they are all records, but pretty confident they would be.
15 out of 22 games scoring at least 50 - that would be hard to beat.
So would scoring 40+ in 20 straight games, but I could be wrong.

If you are talking about what it says in the first post, those are what I could find today. I did find one or two killers streaks of about 7 wins (including finals), though that was it (I didn't check 2012, though did spot the Rockets' 8 game streak at the end of that season).
If you are talking about Patches "records" then I don't know. I do know that he's slightly bested my best efforts in a lot of those categories, in what was the second highest point scoring season on record so I doubt there would be many that could contend with it for all his points based mentions, but then again they are so specific that they are pretty much tailored to the season he had. Might as well have a record for most wins after submitting a team solely typed with your left hand.

Re: XRL Hall of Records
If the Rockets won in round 22 (which it appears they may have?), then they also one 3 finals matches after that, and possibly the streak continued into 2013?

I was questioning patches records. I mean he's probably right, but there's no probably about my two premiership!

Re: XRL Hall of Records
Just confirmed from my old tables, the ROX did win 11 straight in 2012 from Round 15 to the Grand Final!
Shank can check whether they extended this streak into 2013.
This also makes my 10 match unbeaten streak irrelevant.
