Rockets lost 24-48 in Round 1 of 2013 to the Miners, so the streak stops at 11.

Re: XRL Hall of Records
Record submissions:
1. Most points in a finals series.
Shaun Kenny-Dowall 52 points 2010 (12, 8, 20, 12)
2. Most points by a single player in a single game.
Terry Campese 24 points 2008 Rd 21 vs the Rox (Kicked 10 goals, not selected as GK)
Shaun Kenny-Dowall 24 points 2010 Rd 20 vs the Druggies
3. Most consecutive 12+ point matches by a player.
6, Jarryd Hayne Rd 18-FW1 2010 (20, 12, 12, 12, 12, 12)
Incidentally, SKD and Hayne scored 92 and 96 points between Rd 18 and the GF in 2010 (9 matches) at an average of 10.2 and 10.6 per game to carry the Killers to the premiership. SKD's effort included a 0.
Also Wini, I realise your 0 drafted players in your GF winning 2008 team is pretty impressive on the trading front, but my 5 in 2010 is not bad either.
Ok I'm done reveling in the glorious history of the Killers. For tonight.

MARK O'MELEY AND FUIFUI MOIMOI'S FORWARD TRIES WERE THE ONLY SCORING EFFORT THE BLING EAGLES COULD MUSTER IN THEIR CRUSHING DEFEAT.

Re: XRL Hall of Records
I was under the impression Nathan Merritt had the individual game record in a match where he scored 5 tries.
Shannon, you always seemed to take Nathan Merritt for better or worse (until he was just worse, and Jon started drafting him), does that sound right?

So Merritt is the highest non-captain/goalkicker.
Shaun Johnson for the Cougars scoring 44 this year as captain/goalkicker will be hard to beat.

I don't know what will upset Bling more, that he didn't beat the Killers or that somehow non Manly player Fui Fui Moi Moi was in his squad.

Re: XRL Hall of Records
1. Yeah. I remember the Merritt try-athon. Good times. Still missed the finals though. I'm relatively sure I had Merritt for the good times and bailed on him before the decline.
2. Given the discrepancies in 2012, I think the whole season should stricken from the record!!
3. I have the same email address, so hopefully I can find some factoids to contribute and/or 2012 scores.

Re: XRL Hall of Records
Humorous excerpts from 2012 award discussions:
Email from Rick:
had previously voted for the Punters drafting Benji over Corey Parker. However I have just remembered a conversation I had with the Goose of the year before the start of the XRL season:
Orrett: “I should have my own team. ________ (name withheld to protect the innocent) is shit, I should get his team.”
Rick: “Orrett you don’t even know how the XRL scoring system works.”
Orrett: “Yeah I do Reece.”
Rick: “Its Rick you idiot. OK then we’ll start with a simple one. How do backs score points in XRL?”
Orrett: “ummm….trys?”
Rick: “Yep.”
Orrett: “uhh……tackles?”
Rick: “Nope. Even Amanda knows that. And that is why it will be a very long time before you’re a chance of being a head coach. Better luck next year Boz.”
Sam's Nomination Email:
1. THE PATRICK DODDS "SEX ON THE BEACH" OVER-ACHIEVER OF THE YEAR AWARD

c) Jon Pateman- "#xrlcomedy"
d) Charles- "XRL Memes"
e) Pat Mac and Shanky- "Ben Ridge-gate"
8. OVER-ACHIEVING TEAM OF THE YEAR AWARD
a) Cougars
b) Gunners
c) Rockets
d) Punters

c) Brightside- for being the first team to record 2 minor premierships

Re: XRL Hall of Records
How's this for some happy news:
It turns out the week that Nathan Merritt scored 28 for the Druggies, he was playing against the Punters, presumably the week after having lost a team name bet with the Rocket Scientists. So Nathan Merritt will go down in the record books as having the highest match score ever against the Happy Pooftas.
I love it when a plan comes together.

Re: XRL Hall of Records
Sportscenter would love my records!
In 5 minutes of watching it earlier in the week, I found out that A-Rod became the 3rd player to hit an MLB home run in his teens, 20s, 30s and 40s, he is the 6th player to hit a homer on his 40th birthday, and has hit more homers on his birthday than any other player. All useless facts!
But I think "Most Half-Centuries in a Season" is a reasonable record include.
You can delete my longest unbeaten streak because it isn't needed now, as the longest winning streak trumps it.
I also thought I would have all the 2012 emails, but I have very few scoresheet emails for some reason. Most of the emails I have are just Sam, Charles and I patting each other on the back for the great seasons we were having, and mocking the lesser teams (*cough* Punters).

Re: XRL Hall of Records
Probably the same emails you guys worked out the 'random' waiver order!
"Ok, so i was 1st last week and patches was 1st before that so i think it's time charles to get first waiver, but i'll be second obviously"
2012 should have a big asterisk!

Nothing like memorialised humiliation! Much like the entire 2010 and 2014 seasons for the 13 teams not named the Killers.

Actually Toby I have it on good authority that when the random number generator places the Killers first for the third week in a row for waivers, Patches actually disregarded the result. Gross injustice.

What are the odds that Rox v Monsters in the grand final with the Killers minor premiers?

Patchy's random number generator seemed legit at the time.
Anyways who needs waivers, you losers should have just drafted and traded for your team like the Rox did.
DRAFTS: A Woods, J Graham, S Mannering, T Merrin, P Gallen, J friend....aaaaaaaaaaah

Ah, the good old days of 2012 with weekly meetings at XRL HQ (aka the sandwich shop outside Bilbie Dan).
Drafting DCE, Lyon, Watmough, Ennis, Chambers in the 14th, Joel Thompson as a back, Papalli in like the 12th, Linnett as a superstar, Gagai as a scoop, not being able to choose between Reynolds and Sezer for 3rd PM. That all helps for a good season.

What a great turn of events re: the Punters. It's like they bring out the best in the Druggies. Helping me set my records.
The only score stuff for 2012 I have found so far is just scores for my own games.
I did find a Bling Eagles scorecard though. Literally all 17 of their players scored 0.
